Joseph A. “Joe” “Joey” Pellegrin

Joseph A. “Joe” “Joey” Pellegrin, 66, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Fairmont on July 18, 1959 son of the late Camillo and Jenny Sauro Pellegrin.

Joe retired from Harrison Power Station, a division of First Energy. He also had a Bachelors of Arts in Education and was a member of the TKE Fraternity. He was an avid outdoorsman, participating in several activities.

Joe was an active parishioner and volunteer at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 942.

Joe is survived by his wife Cindy Jones Pellegrin and son Tim of Fairmont. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Michael and Kathy Pellegrin of Polk City, Iowa and John and Barbara Pellegrin of Parkersburg and his sister and brother-in-law Jenny and Anthony Camele of Fairmont, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Joe was an outgoing, kind, considerate and humble man with a Servant’s heart. He will live on in the hearts of those that knew him.

Family and friends will be received at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 2-7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Dharelli as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
