Elijah Wade Hearn, 26, of Parkersburg, passed away January 18, 2026, unexpectedly at his residence. He was born December 21, 1999, in Marietta, OH, a son of Tim Eaton of Parkersburg and Jill Hearn Heet (Gary) of Centertown, MO.

Elijah was a Corporal in the West Virginia Department of Corrections. He was a 2018 graduate of St. Marys High School where he excelled in football and was a part of the 2017 State Football Champion Team.

Elijah was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and shooting all types of firearms and playing golf. He was a devoted father and fiance and wonderful son. Most importantly, he was a Christian man and knew Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his fiance Tiffany Marshall, son Hayes Leo Wade Hearn and sister Kasey Jo Eaton, all of Parkersburg along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 4PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4PM.
