Debora L. Dickerson

Debora Lee Dickerson, 59, of Parkersburg, passed away January 1, 2026, at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1966, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Paul L. and Karen Cantrell Dickerson.

Debora was a homemaker and also worked for H&R Block. She was a 1984 graduate of Parkersburg High and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed music, western movies, diamond dots and her flowers.

Surviving are her three children: Karen Hammack (Jeff) of Morgantown, John Jones (Kristen Lamp) of Parkersburg and Emma Jones-Paugh (Jacob Starcher) of Palestine, two brothers: David Dickerson of Davisville and John Dickerson (Rachelle) of Clayton, NC, and sister Carrie Monk (Gaines) of Davisville along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 4PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Johnathon Butcher officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will be Tuesday 2-4PM.

In following Debora’s wishes, her remains will be laid to rest in the Skidmore Cemetery alongside her parents.
