Russell William Kinney, 80, of Davisville, WV, passed away at his residence on November 25, 2025, Surrounded by his devoted wife, Linda of 60 years, and family and friends. Russell Served in the United States Army and was an honorable Veteran. Russell worked Cross County Pipe line for years and for Tri State Roofing. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and going to sales and working on his mowers, he loved family outings and Russell loved reading his western’s and watching his movies, Russell was a member of Cedar Grove County Church, Russell loved all of his family and loved – spending time with them, he loved all of his grandkids and great grand kids and his great, great grand kids, Russell grew up in Walker, WV and Russell also loved riding, his motorcycle with his brother-in-laws and his kids on his father in law,s farm in Walker.

Russell is survived by his wife Linda Kinney of Davisville, and his daughter Carolyn Blouin (Steve) of Walker, and his two sons Russell W. Kinney II (Nancy) of Davisville, and Bob Kinney of Walker. Russell is survived by his grand kids, Doug Kinney (Micki) of Walker, Karissa Kinney (Jason) of Parkersburg, Dustin Kinney of Parkersburg, Robert Kinney (Brandi) of Davisville, Johnathon Hamrick of Parkersburg, Ashley Kinney, of Parkersburg and Kayla Timms (Kyle) of Ohio, William Kinney (Candance) of Davisville. Matt Kinney, of Alabama and Josh Kinney (Kristina) of Davisville, and 24 great grandkids and 2 great, great grand kids.

Russell was preceded in death by his mother Mary Kinney, his Dad, Charles D. Kinney of Parkersburg and his sister, Lora Garrett of Walker

The family wants to thank hospice nurses, Britney, Tammy, and Kelly. Also Dr. Brian Hornsby. A Celebration of his Life will be scheduled at a later time. The Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
