Eileen Ketterman

Eileen Carol Ketterman, 90, of Washington, WV, passed away December 3, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 20, 1934, in Quantico, VA, a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Effie V. Rutledge Pickering.

Eileen lived in the Philippines when she was a child and had many stories about living there. She was especially fond of the Gardenias that grew there. Eileen was a lady who took care of her health and appearance. Family was most important to her. She was a huge Elvis fan.

Surviving are her children: John Bruce Ketterman (Jeannette) of Washington, WV, Lorraine Ruth Baughman (Steven) of Washington, and Julie Diane Deklavon (James) of Parkersburg, along with grandchildren: Terra, Justin and Amy and great-grandchildren: Sadie, Jayla, Kayleigh and Kyela.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Salem Ketterman in 2007, son Andrew Lynn Ketterman, sister Ruth Gaston and brother Robert Pickering.

Funeral services will be Monday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Rick Haught officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Three Crosses Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday 6-8PM and one hour prior to services Monday.
