Douglass Shane Miller

Douglass Shane Miller, 63, of Vienna, passed away November 30, 2025, at Arbors in Marietta. He was born May 6, 1962, a son to the late Curtis O. and Dolly J. Miller (Comer).

He loved spending time with his grandkids and friends. He also loved to read, collect knives and do leatherworking.

Surviving Douglass are his children Jeremy Miller (Megan) and Sarah Miller (Chris); grandchildren Dylan, Evan, Jordan (Cassie), Rylee, Connor, Madison (Samuel), Mikayla, and Kassidy; 3 great-grandchildren, with 1 more on the way; brothers Mike Miller (Shirley), Daniel Miller (Terri), and Kevin Miller; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Eva.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jerry Miller.

As per Douglass’s wishes, his remains will be cremated with a family memorial service at a later date.
