Bill Campbell “Willy” Lincicome

Bill Campbell “Willy” Lincicome, 73, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Born on October 15, 1952, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Bill lived a life marked by dedication to family, a passion for design and the outdoors, and an enduring spirit of generosity.

Bill pursued an impressive academic path that reflected his deep commitment to architecture and environmental design. He studied at West Virginia University and Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from North Carolina State University. He continued his education at Georgia Tech, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Architecture. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a career defined by innovation and thoughtful design.

Above all else, Bill was a family man whose devotion to loved ones shaped every aspect of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife Cookie; his son Scott; grandsons Davis and Spencer; and siblings Maryellen, Bob, Liz, and Charlie. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors who were touched by his warmth and generosity.

Bill was predeceased by his parents — affectionately remembered as Mom and Daddy Bob — his granddaughter Campbell; his sister Susie; brother-in-law Steve Jackson; and nephew Ryan Lincicome.

Those who knew Bill remember him as generous in spirit, committed in purpose, and innovative in thought. His legacy lives on through the lives he enriched with kindness and creativity.

A celebration of life will be held in Hilton Head South Carolina in March 2026 followed by a celebration of life in West Virginia. Details to follow.
