Betty Lee Varner Holmes

Betty Lee Varner Holmes of Boaz, WV, passed away November 29th at Camden Clark Medical Center.

Betty was born November 7th, 1949, a daughter of the late Homer Lee Varner and Betty Henery Ahnatook Varner.

Betty retired from Cold Water Creek. She is survived by her son Eddie Holmes (Lisa Gonzales) of St. Mary’s, W.V; three sisters, Lela Varner Vasquez of Parkersburg, WV, Wanda (Gregg) Dix of Tempe, Arizona, and Jill (Jeff) Caudill of Ruskin, Florida; lots of cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Bobby. Betty loved hand quilting, spending time with her son and family, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Eli A. Varner of Point Barrow, Alaska and Ricky A. Varner of Parkersburg, WV.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV. Burial will follow in Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery, Hebron, WV. Friends may call from 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
