Ruth Ann Gustke

Ruth Ann Gustke, 95, of Parkersburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior October 22, 2025. She was born April 3, 1930 in Parkersburg.

Ruth retired from DuPont at age 55 as a Product Analyst. She spent the next 30 years as a volunteer with the Camden Clark Auxiliary, Habitat For Humanity and Friends of Blennerhassett. She was a long- time active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Surviving is her brother, the Reverend George Gustke of Oklahoma City, OK, 15 nieces and nephews and many great and great- great nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Walter F. and Freda Meyer Gustke along with three brothers: Paul Gustke, the Honorable Arthur Gustke and Dr. Robert Gustke, her great- great niece Peyton Anthony and great-great nephew Nolan Anthony.

Funeral services will be Sunday 2PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Reverend Daniel Golden officiating. Interment will follow on the Gustke Family Plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

A special thank you to Amedisys Hospice of Vienna and Reverend Dan Golden of St. Paul Lutheran Church for their care and comfort in Ruth’s final days and also those who expressed their love and prayers for Ruth and the Gustke family.
