Rev. David Dye

David Nolan Dye, 88, of Palestine, WV formerly of Washington, WV, passed away October 16, 2025. He was born on March 3, 1937 in Barberton, OH a son of the late James H. and Mae Dye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Bookman Dye; son, Dwayne Dye, daughter, Debbie Dye; two brothers and a sister.

David worked at Marbon, Borg Warner and retired from GE Plastics, where he supervised Warehouse A. He also pastored Little Kanawha Baptist Church, Murphytown Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church and Newark Baptist Church. David loved Pastoring everyone and brought many people to Christ. He also loved farming, gardening, wood working, missionary trips and raising animals.

Left to cherish his memory are David & Patricia Dye from Texas, Brian and Tina Dye from Parkersburg; daughters, Cindy and Susie from Parkersburg; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no formal services per his request. A graveside service will be announced in the future.
