Helen Rogers Lamm

Helen Rogers Lamm, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away at home on Oct 27,2025, after an extended illness. She was born on May 21st, 1939, in Ritchie County to the late Frances Everett and Blanch (Lamp) Rogers.

Helen was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church and the BYKOTA Sunday School Class. She had served on the Congregational Care Committee and was known to use her talent of giving. She was a homemaker and served many years volunteering at St Joseph Hospital and at the Senior Citizens Center of Homecrest and Unity Plaza. Helen was also an Avon representative for several years.

She is survived by her husband, John Lamm; sons, David of Indian Trail, NC, and Doug (Kathy) of Hilton Head Island, SC; grandchildren, JD, Lauren and Alex; sister, Charlotte Louise Underwood of Pennsboro, Sandra Lamm of Ravenswood and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister Ha Lourene “Lou” Sullivan, brothers-in-law Thomas Lamm, Ronald Lamm, Gail Underwood and Alfred Sullivan.

In keeping with her giving attitude, Helen’s final gift was the donation of her body to the WVU human gift registry. Leavitt Funeral Services is assisting the family.

The family wishes to thank Debbie and Amedisys Hospice for providing excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of their choice “in memory of Helen Lamm”.

Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.
