Carl Edward McKinniss

Carl Edward McKinniss, 90, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away October 28, 2025, at Elison Assisted Living.

He was born October 16, 1935, in Vinton County, Ohio.

Carl retired from O’Ames after many years of service. He loved nature and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. His greatest joy in life was his family, and he especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was their biggest fan and will be deeply missed.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son, Mark (Donna) McKinniss of Parkersburg, WV; daughter, Lori Pratt of Vienna, WV; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cheyenne McNickle.

No funeral or celebration of life per Carl’s wishes. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
