Richard Cain

Richard Cain, 77, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center of Parkersburg, WV. He was born in Fairmont WV the son of the Late Virgil and Wuanita (Constable) Cain. Was a 1967 Graduate of Wirt County High School. Retired from BSSI of Vienna, WV, after 35 years of service. Attended the Southern Baptist Church of Elizabeth, WV. Richard enjoyed mowing grass, fishing and hunting.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 57 years Judy (Board) Cain, children David Cain, Devin Cain (Christina), Kris Cain (Evie) and Ryan Cain (Toni). Grandchildren Samatha Manahan (Sean), Andrew Cain, Cameron Nelson, Nic Cain (Aiyana), Christian Cain, Zac Cain, Indy Cain, Megan Cain and Liam Cain. Great grandchildren Kai Cain, Teddy Manahan, Sage Cain, Georgie Manahan and Caroline Rios. 2 sisters Susan Cain and Marie McGee. Close Friends Chuck and Linda Cain.

In addition to both his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Benny Cain and Glen Cain.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Pastor Phil Creecy officiating

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at 1 p.m.
