Janice Christman

Janice L. Christman, 83, of Parkersburg unexpectedly passed away Sept. 12, 2025, at her residence. She was born April 11, 1942, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Harold and Roberta McMullin.

Janice was actively employed by Woodcraft Supply in Parkersburg. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Williamstown.

Janice lived for her family, whether it was being a mom, Gammy, or her newer role as a GG. Surviving are two daughters: Lori Williamson (David) of Parkersburg and Sherri Christman (Minda Banziger) of Vienna, a niece who Janice raised , Kathy Kaiser (Alan) of Hilliard, Ohio, sister Rebecca Blair (Les) of Parkersburg, two grandchildren: Emily Williamson (Aaron Burdette) of Charleston and Andrew Williamson (Macey Anderson) of Parkersburg along with a niece Rebecca and nephew Ed and their families. She was loving GG to her great granddaughter, Kynlee Rae Burdette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen McMullin.

Memorial services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Richard McClure officiating. A time of visiting for family and friends will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
