George Pigott

George E. “Ted” Pigott, 80, of Belleville, arrived in heaven with his Lord September 10th, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1944, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Glenwood S Pigott and Elnora L (Lenox) Pigott.

Ted is survived by his wife, Mary (Smith) Pigott of 61 years, and their three children Brian (Tina) Pigott, Mollie (Tony) Boso, Jody (Van) Galland, and their five grandchildren Dustin (Kia) Pigott, Brandon (Lindsey) Boso, Whitney (Scott) Huffman, Brittany (Steffan) Affolter, and Shane (Sarah) Galland, and their 11 great- grandchildren Gavin, Karson and Landon Pigott, Blake and Lexi Boso, Waylon and Wyatt Huffman, Braylon, Elena and Cohen Galland, and Baby Affolter on the way, and bonus granddaughter Jaeleigh Smith, and one brother, Paul (Jane Ann) Pigott, and sister-in-law Joan Pigott, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, several nieces and nephews and special friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Pigott.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Larry Dale and Randy Dornon officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
