Sue Ellen ‘Susie’ Law Tracewell

Sue Ellen “Susie” Law Tracewell, 65, full of love and life, passed away on July 30, 2025, in her hometown of Parkersburg, WV. Born to the late Charles and Elaine Law on February 1, 1960. She was preceded in death by her brother David Law and a dear cousin, Brenda Law Jones.

Susie’s greatest joy was her family including her children Aimee Morris and Andrew Tuell, and grandson Ayden Morris; her husband Richard Tracewell stepchildren Missy Dolly (Jeremy) and Ricky Tracewell; daughter-in-law, Missy Tracewell and grandchildren Alisha and Hannah Dolly and Ricky Michael Tracewell; her sisters Donna Dailey, Beverly Terrell (Bill) and Barbara Augustine and several nephews and a niece. She loved them all truly and deeply.

Susie had a kind and generous spirit and only saw the good in every soul. Her life was guided by her unending compassion for others and her faith in God. She embodied the Lord’s Prayer: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”‘ Her selflessness was endless. The beautiful mark she leaves on this world will forever remain in the hearts of those she left behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held 4pm Monday, August 4th, 2025, at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating.

Gathering of friends and family will be opened to the public from 2-4 pm Monday at the funeral home.
