Ruby Marie Kesterson Lee

Ruby Marie Kesterson Lee, 96, of Parkersburg, passed away August 20, 2025, at her residence.

She was born December 12, 1928, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Carl Taft Kesterson and Virgie Otis Conant Kesterson Marple.

She was a Homemaker and formerly attended Grace Brethren Church and was active in the church with the youth groups. She enjoyed working in her flowers, gardening, baking and was a wonderful seamstress.

She is survived by her children, Larry Lee, David Lee (Debi), Frederick “Joe” Lee (Alicia), Daniel “Danny” Lee and Donna Lee all of Parkersburg; Her grandchildren, Alma Barnes, Melinda Rader, Lewis Lee, Candy Lee, Jon Lee, Jessica Johnson and Brian Lee as well as several great grandchildren. Her siblings, Karen Roberts, Gary Kesterson, Harold Kesterson, John Kesterson and Roger Kesterson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Don Lee and her brothers, Russell, Terry, Richard and Larry Kesterson.

The family wishes to thank the Hospice Nurse, Jerri Rees for her wonderful care.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00am at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Chris Hunt officiating. Entombment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5pm.
