Raymond A. Chipps

Raymond A. Chipps, 68 of Parkersburg passed away Aug. 8, 2025, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 12, 1956, in Parkersburg the son of the late Cecil Raymond and Antoinette Chipps.

He had worked for many years as a Mechanic and enjoyed fishing, being in the sunshine in the outdoors, researching old coins and had a green thumb and enjoyed working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Deena A. Marks Chipps of Parkersburg; His daughters, Heather Chipps, Dee Dee Garland (Leonard), Anna Marie Chipps, Amy Chipps all of Parkersburg and Amber Hall (James) of Washington WV. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. One brother, David Knight (Sharon) of Cleveland and his sister, Rose Oswalt of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Bengrin, Richard Chipps and Ronald Chipps.

All services will be private.
