Pamela Sue Forshey, 69, of Waverly, WV, passed away peacefully on Aug. 6, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and generosity – always putting others before herself.

Born on March 10, 1956, in Weirton, WV, Pam dedicated her life to caring for her family, friends, and even strangers. Whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand, she touched countless lives and made the world a better place. Her unwavering support and boundless love left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was love personified.

Pam had a deep love for animals, jewelry, plants, classic country music, yard sales, crafting, and–most of all–spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lorraine Hissem, and her brothers, William, Gary, and Nelson Hissem.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert T. Forshey Jr.; her son, Brad Forshey (Marissa); her beloved grandson, Hunter Forshey; her sister, Rebecca Carder; her brother, Jim Hissem; nieces Jody Carder-Hamilton (Danny), Jill Allen (Bub), Kristin West, Lauren Waggoner, Lisa Snyder, and Jennifer Hissem; nephews Gary Hissem(Jackie), Scott Hissem, Chris Hissem, Jamie Hissem, Brian Hissem, Greg Snyder, and Jake Forshey; great-niece and namesake, Pamela Brooke Allen (Trisha); and great-niece Gracie Hissem.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Live, laugh, and love. She did–and in doing so, she made even the most ordinary moments extraordinary.
