Milton F. Baker Sr.
Milton F. Baker Sr., 82, passed away on August 21, 2025, in his hometown of Marietta, Ohio. Born on March 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Wilson S. and Hazel I. (Dennis) Baker.
After graduating from Marietta Senior High School in 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, Patty L. (Spencer) Baker, on August 20, 1961. He worked as a forklift operator most of his life prior to retiring in 1999.
Milton enjoyed singing at church, making up silly tunes of his own and touring local nursing homes with The Senior Singers. He loved visiting and laughing with his family. His sense of humor was a delight for all. Milton also enjoyed watching golf, Nascar and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He attended Cutler Chapel Church and was the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He was also a member of the Belpre Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Patty L. Baker as well as his brother Jerry (Jeanie Ganley) Sarver, his son, Milton Jr. (Cyndi) Baker, daughter Shellie (Butch) Arnott, granddaughters Molly Simich, Eleanora (Noah) Edgell and great granddaughter Charlotte Jean Edgell and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Darryl (and his late wife Jeanie) Baker.
As Milton joins the heavenly choir, his memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
