Michael Eugene Taylor

Michael Eugene Taylor, 69, of Washington, WV, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 10, 2025. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on January 3, 1956, to Margaret Dickerson Taylor and the late Ronald Eugene Taylor.

Mike married the love of his life Kelley and they were married for 42 years. They owned and operated Quality Sanitation Service for many years. Mike attended Pleasant View Baptist, where he was baptized.

He enjoyed spending his free time in his garage working and tinkering on cars, trucks, and any other machine that he can get his hands on. Mike also enjoyed remodeling and building things.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kelley, his mother, Margaret, his sons, David Taylor (Megan), Josh Taylor (Sammatha), Matthew Arthur (Alyssa), daughter, Lindsey Taylor, brothers, Alan Taylor(Paula), Randy Taylor (Becky), Ronnie Taylor and sister, Sabrina Marks (Richie), 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his dad, infant brother, David Alan Taylor, and sister, Sheila White.

He will be greatly missed by all who know him.

Services for Mike will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4 to 7pm and one hour before the service on Saturday.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
