Joyce Renee (Rush) Stanley

Joyce Renee (Rush) Stanley, 67, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on August 12, 2025, at her residence.

She was born August 1, 1958, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold Leroy and Lois Jeanette (Croston) Rush.

Joyce was retired from Krayton in Belpre and also McCarthy Real Estate. She was a member of the Bethel Wesleyan Church.

Joyce is survived by her beloved daughter, Traci McLaughlin (Nate) of Belpre; two cherished grandchildren, Evan Wilson and Weston Wilson; and her grand dog, Copper. She is also survived by her sister, Vicki Rush Challenger; brother, Gregory Rush; nephew, Vincent Challenger; and several cousins.

Joyce loved spending time with her grandsons above all else. She enjoyed road trips, playing the piano, watching Family Feud with Nate and relaxing spa days with Traci. Gospel music and Hallmark movies brought her great joy. A loyal sports fan, she supported the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Buckeye Hospice and Belpre Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Bethel Wesleyan Church, 22995 Bethel Ridge Road, Amesville, Ohio, with Reverend Steven Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com.
