Dolly M. Holland

Dolly M. Holland of Mineral Wells, WV, by the Grace of God went to be with her Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ on August 21, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1935, at Reedy, WV. She was a graduate of the Berean School of the Bible and an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Dolly was a pastor, evangelist, teacher, author, Founder of the Hurting Women’s Ministry, developer, and Minister of the Prayer Garden.

She and her husband, Robert, pastored churches in West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia for 51 years.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents Fola and Hazel Finch Hart, sisters, Zelma Ball and Betty Montgomery (Ben), and brother, Harold Ray Hart. She also had a sister who died before birth.

Dolly is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Robert P. Holland, sister, Janet Wilson (Paul), brother, Edsel Hart (Bernice), sister-in-law, Sharon Brown (Tom), two daughters, Brenda Lowther (Andy), Leah Wolfe (Ron), three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation but there will be a Triumph Service at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. with Pastors Brad Puckett and Tony Raffa officiating.

We want to thank the doctors and nurses at Amedisys Hospice for their months of loving care. We also want to thank the doctors and nurses and all the staff at Camden Clark for their loving care for Dolly in the last week of her life. The family would like to give a special thank you to her oncologist, Dr. Cawley for her loving care of Dolly for 21 years.
