Christine E. “Chris” Smith

Christine E. “Chris” Smith, 72, Oak Grove Road Community, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, at Camden Clark Medical Center. Born in Parkersburg, WV, on May 29, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Ruth Maley Moore. She was a 1972 graduate of Williamstown High School. Chris retired from Camden Clark Hospital after 39 years of service. She was a member of Waverly Church of Christ. She enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald R. Smith; one son, Jay D. (Emily) Smith; one grandson, Silas Smith; one sister, Doris Blind; and two nephews, Tom and Ronnie Blind. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Bob Long and Bob Crawford officiating.
