Charles “Chuck” Lewis Maston

Charles “Chuck” Lewis Maston, 84 of Parkersburg, formerly West Union passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Chuck was born April 22, 1941 in Schultz, WV, Pleasants County son of the late Bud and Violet Fern Moore Maston. Chuck graduated from St Marys High School. He was a heavy equipment operator, production worker for Keyser Aluminum, owner/operator of Stewart’s Service Station, OTR Truck Driver, and last worked at Doddridge County Health Department. He enjoyed hunting, watching the Washington Redskins, WVU Football, NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing at Tyler County. Chuck is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sarah Margaret Stewart Maston who he married on September 8, 1962; two children, Michael Lewis Maston (Tammy), Middlesex, NC, Melissa Brisell (David), Bruceton Mills; one grandson, Bradley Michael Maston (Julia); one step granddaughter, Shantel Driver (Al); numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his siblings, James William “Buddy” Maston, Jerry Lewis Maston Sr, Carl Edward “Bill” Maston, Paul Eugene Maston, Phyllis Maxine Sigler, Leona Fern Kelly, Betty Lou Maston, and Anna Jane Higgins. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Mark Wilmoth officiating.
