Charles (Chuck) Boyd Shinn, 74, of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, passed away on August 7, 2025, at home surrounded by family.
Born December 1, 1950, in Cottageville, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles Wilbur and Blanche Buena Bennett Shinn. He was a 1970 graduate of Ravenswood High School and retired from Lemon & Barretts ATV & Powersports.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra S Shinn and his daughter Amy M. Pinson of Columbus, Ohio. Siblings, Annabelle Flesher of Millwood, Lonnie (Sue) Shinn of Princeton, Patsy Sailor of Ravenswood, Mildred Peg Biles of Fort Scott, Kansas, Clayton (Delphine) Shinn of Sistersville.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Shinn of Silverton, and sister Reba Jo Merical of Millwood.
After losing both parents in 1957, Charles was grateful to have been raised by his sister Annabelle and her late husband, Brooks Flesher.
Chuck cherished spending time with family and friends, motorcycles, old cars, fishing and camping. He loved collecting items to repurpose them.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and daughter, family, friends, his dogs Marley, Marshal and Rebel, and granddog Vienna.
