Virgil Wayne Amos

Virgil Wayne Amos, 67, of Belleville, WV, passed away at home on Saturday, July 19th, 2025.

Virgil was born May 20th, 1958, in Parkersburg, WV. to the late William Virgil and Nina Ruth Amos.

Virgil’s siblings are Ruth Collins, CA. Peg Smith, WV. (deceased) Ken Amos, WV.

Virgil graduated from Parkersburg South High School. Worked in the Brick Layers Union and later became self employed. He was an accomplished carpenter, craftsman, skilled marksman and avid outdoorsman. Virgil enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and time with family and friends.

Virgil married Pamela Carol Metts Amos in 1980. They purchased a farm in Belleville.

Their union was blessed with 7 children. Daisy MT. (Cody Miracle) Hayley, Jacob and Levi Kirby. Ethan, Bryan, Bryson and Rowan Miracle. Josh Amos, WV. William, Wyatt and Lorna. Lilly MT. (Steven Schenk) Taven, Sierra, Austen and Rozella. Holly MT. (Austin Vreugdenhil) Eric, Garrett and Alex Haus. Xavier Vreugdenhil. William Virgil Amos MT. Roman, Rain and Landen. Rose SD. (Benny Roberts) Zoe, Violet, Sky, Eli. Jay Amos MT.

There will be no public service in honor of Virgil’s wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the Amos family will be receiving condolences and contributions, for a family travel fund to spread ashes at: Amos Family, P.O. Box 273, Forsyth, MT. 59327.
