Sharon Ann Bowe, 81, of Little Hocking, passed away peacefully at her home on July 14, 2025.
She was born May 6, 1944, in Logan, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elvin Ellsworth and Hazel Lucille (Daft) Bean.
In addition to being a devoted homemaker, Sharon was a skilled painter and wallpaperer who built a successful business over nearly 30 years, proudly serving and satisfying countless clients. She was also a longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Little Hocking.
Sharon was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Guardians, and Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved watching sports and never missed an opportunity to attend her grandchildren’s games. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, skating, swimming, and water skiing. Sharon also loved playing board games and cards with family and friends. Above all, she cherished her relationship with the Lord and treasured her family, who were the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Henry Bowe of Little Hocking; her children, Deanna (Jeffery) Muscari of Pickerington, Ohio, Gregory (Pamela) Bowe of Pickerington, Ohio, Melissa (Brian) Liston of Little Hocking, Ohio, and Brian (Jennifer) Bowe of Cutler, Ohio; grandchildren Lauren (Connor) Johnson, Ty (Kylee) Liston, Audrey (Brody) Gilliand, Alex Bowe, Peyton Bowe, Kate Liston (Noah Nichols) who are getting married soon, Emilia Bowe, and Andrew Bowe; great-grandchildren Elliana Johnson, Rowan Johnson, Rylee Jean Liston, Berklee Mae Liston and Bodie Johnson; brothers Ronnie Bean and Paul Bean; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Frances McGoye, and her brothers, Jimmy Bean and Harold Bean.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, 1 p.m., at Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre, with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Little Hocking.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.
