Patsy Ann (Jordan) Rankin

Patsy Ann (Jordan) Rankin, born on Sept. 18,1941, departed her earthly home and family on July 26, 2025. Patsy was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nettie Jordan of Harrisville, WV. Patsy was the last surviving sibling of 10.

She married James Rankin, and together they raised their daughters – Barbara Pope (Alan), Beverly Stewart (Michael), Sandra Grogg, Vicki Williams (Douglas) and Andrea Keffer (Lawson).

Her pride and joy was loving her grandchildren: Ryan Grogg, Jerrod Bunner, Taylor Williams, Kasey McCoy, Erin Richard, Brooke Herman, Travis Stewart, Christopher Pope and Bea Kincaid. She was blessed to spend her later years with cherished great grandchildren.

Some of her favorite memories were the family gatherings at Doug and Vicki’s over the years. Patsy especially found joy in cooking her warm, comforting food for her loved ones.

Patsy was a homemaker who also worked at Sam’s Club and managed a hotel. She was proud to serve her community through the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the DAV.

She will be missed deeply, remembered often and loved always.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, in the Chapel of Peace on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 1 p.m.
