James Earl "Jim" Miracle, 88, passed away on July 4, 2025, embraced in love by his wife Jean, daughter Karen, and son Mark, in Terrell, North Carolina. Born on Dec. 28, 1936, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Jim loved life, learning, travel and was an amazing host to all who visited his home. In retirement, he and wife Jean enjoyed their almost 30 years of leisure on Lake Norman.
Jim touched many lives and was loved, respected, and admired by so many friends and family. He had a lifelong love of boating, fishing, water and snow skiing and in retirement he was an avid jet skier, fisherman, and golfer. When he was unable to take on 18 holes he rarely missed a day playing online WGT Golf and had a standing online tee time with his son Karl.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Jean Ann Miracle (Kaser); Daughter Karen Kay Miracle, (Thomas Heisler); Son Mark Alan Miracle, (Debbie); Son Karl Robert Miracle (Vickie); Grandchildren Ashley Marie Miracle and Nicholas Alan Miracle (Rachelle) and Great Grandchildren Zayne Miracle and Shayla Miracle, who brought him immense joy through their many visits on FaceTime.
Jim was preceded in death by his Father Charles E. Miracle; Mother Alice V, Miracle (Cottrill); Sister Shirley Emrick (Lee); Brother Gary Miracle (Carol); Brother Charles (Charlie) Miracle (Dorothy).
