Curtis J. Fouse, 93, of Parkersburg, WV, died Thursday July 3, 2025, at Elison Assisted Living in Marietta He was born in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Curtis H. and Helen D. (Beebe) Fouse.

He retired from DuPont in 1992 after thirty-seven years of service. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the PARC Amateur Radio Club and had the call sign of K8UC. He helped many people to get their HAM operators license. Curtis was also a member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service. He was a member of the Pioneer Antique Automobile Club since the 1960s, and loved restoring antique cars. He and his wife Irene participated in many car tours and National Car Shows throughout the United States.

He is survived by three children Kamalynn Lawson (David) of Washington, WV, Charles Fouse (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Gary Fouse of Evansville, IN; four grandchildren, Benjamin Fouse (Tiffany), Brian Fouse (Adena Steward), Irene Fouse, and Chad Fouse (Nikki); step grandchildren Joseph Lawson, and DiAnna Stephens (Mark Tompkins), and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Mikayla, Isaac, and Zachary Collins, Jaden Fouse, Madison Stephens, Brandon and Alex Lawson, Kenneth, Kimberly, and Kyle Fouse, and Mackenzie, Annabelle, and Nikolas Fouse.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife V. Irene (Archer) Fouse, son Darrell Fouse, grandson Gary Fouse II, and sister Margaret.

Services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Larry Dale officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m.
