Carol Suzanne Gardner

Carol Suzanne Gardner, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away July 7, 2025, at the Parkersburg Care Center & Rehabilitation. She was born on Feb. 16, 1947, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late John Huston and Kathryn Smith Mowery.

Carol worked as a supervisor for Wood County Bank and formerly attended Stout Memorial United Methodist Church for most of her life. She loved living in the country and being surrounded by nature and the animals there.

She is survived by her brother, Daniel L. Mowery of Woodland Park, CO.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Gardner and son, Stephen Gardner.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
