James Clayton Henderson, age 92, of Acworth, GA, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born in 1933 in Ames, IA, to Earl Wilton Henderson and Esther Logan Henderson and grew up in East Lansing, MI. He was a graduate of East Lansing High School and the University of Utah. Jim retired from the DuPont Company after a 37 year career. He served as a Township Supervisor in Kennett Township, Chester County, PA, for 12 years. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Martha Ann Landon, his second wife Barbara Hays, his daughters Ellen Esther Henderson, Sharon Henderson Bastide and grandson Robert James Cornett. He is survived by his children Susan Henderson Figg and James Clayton Henderson, II and stepchildren Robert Tebay, Sara Sherwin, John Tebay, and Jane Davis.
