Fredrick "Fred" Lee Price left this world to dance in glory with his Lord and Savior on June 12, 2025. He was born Dec. 18,1945, in Logan, Ohio, to parents James Everett Price and Freda "Irene" (Lutz) Price.
Fred was a devoted family man and loved his wife Charlotte, sister Jane (James) Coffey, children Tanya (Ollie) Walter, Jerry (Cassandra) Price, Caroline Price-Smith, Jessica (Jim) Fought, John David Sweeney, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews greatly.
Fred was always happiest spending time with family, fishing and telling "tall tales", and loving on his treasured animals. He was an active member of the Bible Baptist Church in Parkersburg, WV.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Ken and Doug Kennedy and Roy Price.
Fred will always be remembered for his generous spirit, loving nature, and gentle laugh. He was the kind of Christian we all aspire to be and we are better for knowing and loving Fred.
A memorial service will be planned for July 1st, 6 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 4100 Cyprus Street, Parkersburg, WV, with Pastor Dan Stevens officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will be available one hour prior to the service.
