On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Lord called his faithful servant, Eulalah Ernestine (Keffer) Mullen, to her Heavenly home. She was at home surrounded by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren and supported with tremendous love and prayers felt from friends and extended family abroad.
She defied all odds after suffering a stroke three years ago. God granted that time to witness her tremendous courage and determination along with Godás miracles in a recovery that doctors said would never be possible.
She was born in Gay, West Virginia, on Oct. 10, 1941, to the late James and Wilda (Knopp) Keffer.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Icy and Elmer Knopp, parents James and Wilda (Knopp) Keffer; aunts Eulalah Weadock; Hettie Knopp, Mardell (Paul) Stewart, Evelyn (Frank) Rhodes, Girtha (Harrison) Matheny; and uncles Waitman and Olen Knopp. Also proceeding her in death were her brothers Henry, Alfred (Betty), Arlie (Evelyn), Austin (Trudy) and sisters Eleanor (Norville) Miller and Eileen Lee. Her nephew Nick Keffer, nieces Robin Keffer and Sue Miller, and great-grandson Thadion Carter.
She was dedicated to her family and is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Randall Mullen and her children, Scott Anthony and twin daughters Sara (Charles) McDowell and Tara (Jim) Preston. In addition she is survived by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren – all of whom she adored.

A celebration of life will be held at John Taylor Funeral Home in Spencer, WV on Tuesday, June 17. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services will be held at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
