David Julius Kanalz, 79, of Vienna, WV, passed away on May 22, 2025, following a brief illness.
David was born Nov. 22, 1945, in Parkersburg, WV. He was the son of Julius and Beulah Kanalz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jody Butcher Kanalz; his parents; a brother, Paul and a sister, Virginia Kanalz.
He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1964. He was a long-time employee of Dudley's Florist
David was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and the Wood County Historical Society.
A memorial service is planned at the church at the convenience of the family.
