Charlotte Christine Vanfossen, 90, of Belleville, passed away June 12, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born May 18, 1935, in Kanawha County, WV, a daughter to the late Clifford B. Lamp and Edna E. Asbury.
Charlotte worked as a district manager for Par Mar, a manager for Valley Bell, and also managed the Lubeck Variety Store. She was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed travelling, collecting dolls and antique, quilting, and crafting.
She leaves behind her daughters, Debra Parsons (Butch) of Belleville and Lynn Gard of Parkersburg; her son, Chris Vanfossen (Cindy) of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Vanfossen; a son, Scott Vanfossen; two brothers, Kenneth and Clayton Lamp; and a sister, Bethel Murphy.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
