Susanne Helen Hupp Van Horn

Our beloved wife, mother, and nana, Susanne Helen Hupp Van Horn, 74, passed away suddenly at Marietta Memorial Hospital on April 30th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and James Hupp.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Wayne Van Horn. Her three children, Alicha (Rick) Farley of Parkersburg, Dustin (Tammi) Van Horn of Williamstown, and Lacey (Pat) Van Horn-Molden of Williamstown. Her grandchildren, Kate, Josie, Lindsay, Jade, Roran, Sawyer, Colt, Kiki, Belle, Dustin (7), Jaxton, and Maverick. She is also survived by her siblings that included: Bill (Barb) Hupp, Ed Hupp, Joanne (Steve) Carney, Howard (Carolyn) Hupp as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.

Susi was the heart and soul of her family. She was the one that remembered everything: birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, you name it! She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with her grandkids. With her favorite holiday being Halloween, her family fully expects to see her flying on her broomstick through the full moon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph (Jack) Hupp and James (Jimmy) Hupp.

Her wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes spread at her favorite place, Myrtle Beach, SC. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.hadleyfh.com.
