Patricia J. Pickens, 92, of Williamstown, WV passed away April 12, 2025.
She was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Grantsville, WV, a daughter of the late John Wright and Scottie Plant Wright.
Patricia worked as a Banker for Williamstown Bank for many years. She was of Christian faith and attended Williamstown United Methodist Church. She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a gardener who loved to plant flowers. She was an excellent cook and loved making meals for her family and friends. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift of making friends wherever she went.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cheri Garapic; sisters, Guinevere Lesley, F Jean Crispin; many nieces and nephews and grand-dog, Baxter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pickens; son-in-law, Christopher Garapic; brother, William Wright; sisters, Juanita Richards, Margalene Johnson, Oleda Boyce, and Betty Westfall.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday April 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
