Constance Elizabeth Robey, 85, passed away on April 19, 2025, in Whitefish, Montana. Born on December 15, 1939, in Sidney, Mt. Constance, affectionately known to many as Connie, Connie was raised by Howard and Bonnie O'Daniel from Miles City, Mt., with foster sisters Elsie and Becky.
Connie graduated from Custer High School in Miles City, Mt, and became a housewife and also working at Viscoes, St. Joseph Gift Shop, and ultimately retiring from Sears. Her work ethic and dedication to her roles were admired by all who worked alongside her.
Everyone who knew Connie loved her for her great sense of humor and her stubborn streak, traits that defined her equally. Her hobbies included crafts, gardening, lawn work, and painting, activities that she not only enjoyed but also excelled at, bringing beauty to her surroundings and joy to those around her.
Connie was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Robey, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years. She was also preceded in death by her father, Clarence Larson; mother, Belva Humphrey; sister, Peggy Gabbard; brother, Richard Larson; daughter, Debra Eddleblute; and grandsons, Eric Brush and Nathan Eddleblute. She is survived with excellent care by her daughter, Monica Brush (Les); granddaughter, Mandy Casto (Nathan); grandson, Chad Eddleblute (Erin); five great-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Blake Casto, Preston (Kylie), Taylor, and Logan Brush; and one great-great-granddaughter, Cecilia Casto. Connie also leaves behind her sisters, Carolyn Myers of Colorado and Winnie Brady of Idaho, and her brother, Prentiss Foster of Minnesota, along with several nieces and nephews, including her close niece, Eileen Stephens from Texas.
In accordance with her wishes, Connie will be cremated with no services. She will be put in a mausoleum beside her husband at Sunset Memory Gardens; those wishing to honor her memory can make contributions to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, WV, a cause close to her heart. Connie's legacy of warmth, humor, and resilience will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
