William (Bill) Earl Leach

William (Bill) Earl Leach passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 11th, 2025.

Bill was born on January 8th, 1943, to Virgil and Clarestine Cline Leach.

He resided in Mineral Wells WV, with his wife of 61 years Judy Pullins Leach. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy, and Son-in-law, Robert Hoover, his two granddaughters, Alexis (Braidon) Knotts and Elizabeth Hoover, his great-grandchildren, Payton and Skyler Knotts, who were the lights of his life, step-granddaughter, Crystal Longwell. He also left behind brothers Jim (Alice) Leach of Lubeck and Dwight Leach of Carrollton, GA, many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as bonus family Lindsey and Ronnie Anderson of Ripley and their daughter Avalee and his furbabies, Rosie and Timmy.

Bill was an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending his springs at Revell’s Campground in Elkins, WV fishing with his DuPont buddies.

He was an activity leader for Saulsbury 4-H Club for 45 years. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau for more than 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his son Richard Earl Leach, as well as his parents.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
