Daniel H. Wildt

Daniel H. Wildt, 77, of Parkersburg, WV, died March 9, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born March 15, 1947, in Parkersburg a son of the late James “Jim” Gaston Wildt and Patricia Wildt.

Dan is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Wildt; son, Eric (Laurie) Wildt of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Christina (Jason) Howell of Pittsburgh, PA; step-son, Michael Miller and fiance, Ashleigh Dalessio of Buford, NC; grandchildren, Michael and Max Wildt, Jack and Paige Howell; step-grandchildren, Haley and Gus Miller; siblings, Diane (David) Smith, Mark Wildt and his wife Darcy McMahon, Anthony “Tony” (Mary Kay) Wildt; Dominic “Gary” Wildt; Timothy (Cathy) Wildt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Mary Burdette and step daughter, Christina Michelle Miller.

He retired from Babcock Lumber Company, enjoyed spending as much time as possible in Hilton Head, SC with his beloved wife and cherished siblings and could often be found with his many friends at the 19th Street Country Club or on the golf course.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, March 14th from 4-7 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society.
