Elizabeth A. Rader

Elizabeth A. Rader, 79, of Parkersburg, WV, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at WVU Medicine-Camden. She was born in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Earl and Virginia (Buskirk) Smith.

She was a Deputy Assessor for Wirt County and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Smith (Damon) of Parkersburg; four sons Zach Smith of Greensboro, NC, Zane Smith of Parkersburg, Nathan Smith of Parkersburg, and Tim Hagan of Parkersburg; Tim’s daughter Fiona Hagan; three sisters Nancy Gumm (Mike) of Parkersburg, Mary Pigott (Ted) of Belleville, WV, and Judy Jenkins of Parkersburg; and a brother Earl Smith (Marsha) of New Martinsville, WV.

Services will be Monday 11 a.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Father John Rice officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 p.m.
