Shelley Jo Doss, 57, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2025, at her residence in Parkersburg.

She was born Nov. 21, 1967, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Bantz William Stalnaker Jr and Roberta Lois Jarvis Stalnaker. She was a 1986 Parkersburg South High School graduate. Shelley’s greatest joys in life included spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing at the beach, and the magic of Christmas.

Shelley was happily married to the love of her life Scott Doss for 34 years. In those years they welcomed three children and three grandchildren.

Shelley is survived by her husband Scott Doss; her children Peyton Row (Chris), Alex Doss (Sam), and Hadley Parks (Barry); her grandchildren Gatlin Row, Collins Row, and Conleigh Row; two sisters, Deann Gregory and Sherry Spears; one brother, Bill Stalnaker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shelley was proceeded in death by her siblings Jeffrey Stalnaker and Sheila Snyder as well as her in-laws Gale Doss Jr and Joyce Doss.

Shelley’s remains will be cremated. Per her request, there will be no services.
