Neil Wade Dilly, 77, of Holly Ridge, NC, died at home on Dec. 8, 2024. He was the son of the late Okey G. and Beulah McCracken Dilly of Murphytown, WV. He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1965, attended Mountain State Business College and was a Veteran of the US Army Reserve. He was retired from the National Asbestosis Workers Local 80.Neil is survived by his wife of 36 years Renee Duncan Dilly, sons Brad (Cindy) Dilly, Murphytown, WV, Joe Dilly, Medina, Ohio, Matt (Ginger) Pitts, Lyman, SC, and daughter Candace (Mike) Fluharty, Surf City, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandsons, sisters Joyce (Danny) VanCamp of High Point, NC and Betsy (John) Myer of Vienna, WV. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025. at Murphytown Baptist Church. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m., and services will begin at 2 p.m. by Rev. Jason Hickman.
