Harold Stanley

Harold Stanley, 88, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Dec. 5, 2024, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1936, a son to the late Delmon and Vada Stanley (Price).

Harold was a strong man of faith, an ordained deacon, and a Godly husband and father who lived his Christian values in all areas of his life. Harold was employed at Kaiser Aluminum Plant in Ravenswood, WV, working in the pot rooms until his retirement. Harold was a veteran where he spent four years in the United States Army stationed in Fort Richardson, Alaska. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats alongside his tuxedo cat, Jingles.

Surviving Harold is his wife, Deborah Stanley; Daughter, Sandy Webb (Bruce) Son, Phil Stanley (Amy) Grandchildren: Elise (Brad), Casey (Caleb), Chelsey, Chloe (Chad) Great Grandchildren: Brody, Tyler, Wyatt, Emma, and Jeremiah. Sisters: Melba Fetty (Fred) and Lula Feltner (Donnie)

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mildred Blackburn and brother Floyd Stanley.

A memorial service for Harold will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 5-7 p.m. In keeping with Harold’s wishes, his remains will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg and the Parkersburg Women’s Care Center
