Cheryl Ann Huffman (Beary) devoted animal lover was found deceased in her apartment Dec. 8th, 2024, in Ravenswood WV.
Cheryl was born in Parkersburg, WV, Dec. 20, 1948, to Mr. Harry Thomas and Mrs. Dorothy A Beary. Mr. and Mrs. Beary preceded Cheryl in passing, Cheryl had no other known living relatives.
Cheryl was a skilled tennis player and a member of the girls gymnastics team at Parkersburg WV High School. She graduated from Parkersburg WV High School in 1967.
She enjoyed traveling, new adventures, feeding the wildlife, rescuing dogs and caring for horses. Cheryl Ann then resided in Florida for 30 years and worked in the hospitality/restaurant industry before returning to her home state of WV in 2000.
Cheryl's former husband retired attorney David L Huffman was a U.S. Marine who was blinded during combat in Vietnam. Cheryl was credited with assisting United States veterans with her husband for over a decade by providing transportation throughout the United States to Mr Huffman as he practiced law including veterans law.
Cheryl's assistance to thousands of veterans throughout the United States will forever be appreciated.
