Ruby Offutt, 90 of Williamstown, WV. passed away September 11, 2024.

She was born in Calhoun Co. WV, May 22, 1934, the daughter of the late Orville and Oleda Leach.

She had worked for many years as a Cook for the Wood County Board of Education. She was a longtime member of the Parkview United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Parkview United Methodist Women’s Club. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed puzzles, word searches and making Afghan quilts and giving them to her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie S. Russell (Rick) of Parkersburg and her son, Tim Offutt of Lubeck, WV. Her grandchildren, Crystal Ambrose (Randy), Derick Russell (Megan), Brandon Offutt (Natalie) and Kristen Chichester (Kody). Her great grandchildren, Adalynn Gunnoe, Aurora Gunnoe, Izabella Russell and Rowan Offutt. Her brothers, Donald Leach of Texas and Dale Leach (Joan) of Huntington, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Offutt Jr. Her daughter, Jane Ambrose; Her daughter in law, Teri Offutt and one great granddaughter, Saylor Chichester.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 17, at 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Pastor Raymond Maleke officiating with interment to follow.
