Jacob Stephen “Steve” Biddle Jr.

Jacob Stephen “Steve” Biddle Jr., 86, of Washington, WV, died Monday Sept. 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1937, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Jacob Stephen Biddle, Sr. and Edith M. (Clegg) Biddle.

He was an Ironworker for Local 787 and a United States Army veteran. He was a 1955 graduate of Parkersburg High School, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years Evelyn D (Bloomer) Biddle; son Eric S. Biddle (Tammy) of Parkersburg; stepson Michael A. Ferree of Parkersburg; stepdaughter Cathy L. Mays (Kenneth) of Washington; six step grandchildren Erin Schaad (Travis), Danielle Ferree, Sean Ferree (Skyla Ormond), Evan Ferree (Audrionna Allen),Anthony Pendleton (Michele), and Toni McGuire (Sam); seven step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step grandson Justin Mays, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private services will be held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family requests that no flowers be sent.
