Gary Lee Williams, 81, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Sept. 4, 2024, at his residence under the loving care of his family and Amedisys Hospice.

He was born on Nov. 14, 1942, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late James Leroy and Betty Louise Guinn Williams.

Gary served his country in the US Army. He retired from GE Plastics and was a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed old cars and restoring his 32 Ford and 38 Chevy. Gary was a member of the Rolling Oldies Car Club, NCO Club and enjoyed playing Santa Clause during the holidays.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Jean Wineman Williams, children Brenda Long (Dustin), Jeffery Allen Williams (Deadra), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, step children Shane Hall, Shannon Hall, Christina Dawn Kieffer, Karen Joy Mannino and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Martin Douglas Williams, Timothy Williams, brother James Michael Williams, first wife Susan Louise Myers Williams and second wife Rebecca Williams.

A Life Celebration will be held at a date to be announced.
